I am a creative in the field of Art. I’m also a tattoo Artist. Through my artwork, I aim to explore and convey messages about society, life, and the complexities of the human mind. I am particularly drawn to telling untold stories through my paintings, shedding light on narratives and perspectives that often go unnoticed.
In terms of artistic style, I enjoy blending elements of abstract and portrait techniques. This allows me to express my unique artistic vision and create a style that is distinctively my own. I firmly believe that art has the power to transcend time, and therefore, my intention is to create paintings that not only outlive their creators but also remain timeless in their meanings
I am Nigerian born and an Abuja based Humanitarian visual artist, providing in-depth instructional experiences with a focus on creativity and expression.
I am also an Art Educator and presently serving as the Co-ordinator for Arts In medicine Projects, Abuja Chapter. Olamide holds a BA, in Visual art from the University of Lagos in Nigeria where he began his professional arts career in 2009. He is the founder of “Tstrokes by Olamide”, his arts business specializing in the production of art pieces and mentoring of young children in the field of arts.
I am a Fulani from Gombe state ,who is based in Abuja . I am a wife , mother and medical doctor. A self taught artist who works with pencils, charcoal, pastels and also makes ambigrams. Im into inanimate realism because of my love for details. My works usually depict vintage objects and scenery and I most often find inspiration from the world around me and from my childhood memories. I have worked with children as a mentor at the Crafts club Abuja. I am also a member of the Female Artists Association of Nigeria (FEAAN)
Popularly known as ISIMISM and I am a forerunner of hyperrealism in Nigeria who focuses on the hyper realistic conceptualization and mind-bending surrealistic approach of visually expressing emotions, life experiences and important messages or stories using the elements especially “water” an important element in the sustainability of life on earth. I am versatile and work with other mediums, but I am best known for my oil on canvas and pencil works. I hold a BA and MA in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos in 2009 and 2019 respectively and I am an art educator as well as a mentor to young artists. Coming from Lagos I’ve lived and worked in Abuja for over 4 years now.
I am a science inspired artist. My work is about the identity and connections of human beings through language, gesture, looks, expression, physical placement, cultural values, standards, emotions, and desires. Exploring how we communicate, accept, constrain, or reject these connections to form relationships is an evident theme throughout my work. My art centers on the human figure, which relays the connection back to me. Portraits are a predominant part of my work, as I am fascinated and challenged by the aging, experience, environment, lighting, background, and just what a slight muscle movement can make. My new body of work is focused on the future and the social imaginaries which makes us who we are. I research, investigate and illustrate the African identity and make it appear in the future ahead so we don’t lose them completely. I work on how I live my life, more consuming ideas, and reflections on how moral and spiritual gauges are created within social, historical, and instinctual contexts.
